TUI Holidays Complaints Department Contact Address
Have you been let down by TUI Holidays and want information about how to make a complaint?
This page has been created by Simpson Millar Solicitors’ Holiday Claims team to offer free help and advice to consumers seeking compensation.
You and your legal rights
When you purchase a package holiday from TUI Holidays you receive powerful consumer protection. The Package Travel and Linked Travel Regulations 2018 makes TUI responsible for ensuring that your holiday is supplied to a reasonable standard. Furthermore, the Regulations make TUI responsible for their suppliers so if something goes wrong during your flight or at your hotel TUI are answerable.
Does your TUI complaint concern an injury or an illness?
Important – you should not accept any offer of compensation from TUI if your complaint concerns being ill on holiday or an accident abroad without taking legal advice.
Compensation for a personal injury can be substantial and by accepting an offer from your tour operator you could extinguish your legal rights to claim the true amount you are entitled to receive.
If you or a family member have been ill at your TUI hotel through food poisoning or sick because of poor hygiene at your hotel then get some quick advice by calling us on 08081293329 before making your complaint.
How long have you got to make a complaint?
The law allows you 6 years to start court proceedings if your complaint does not include a complaint about a personal injury which may have been caused by an accident or illness. If your complaint concerns an injury or illness then the law allows you just 3 years to start court proceedings in England and Wales. In the case of children (under the age of 18) the law allows a child 3 years from the date they reach 18 to start court proceedings.
