Career
Paul’s expertise and knowledge has been accumulated through his vast experience of defending large group actions and serious accident claims for the tour operator Thomas Cook – whose brands include amongst many Airtours, MyTravel and Direct Holidays.
Paul spent 12 years working in travel as a defendant lawyer in a number of senior capacities leading teams conducting group and class actions involving many hundreds of holidaymakers who had suffered from illness whilst on holiday in addition to cases concerning accidents resulting is serious, catastrophic and fatal injuries.
A Fellow of the Institute of Legal Executives Paul also holds a degree in Anthropology from Durham University. Paul is a member of TATLA (Travel and Tourism Lawyers Association) and has been successful in many prominent cases.
Paul is widely respected as a committed and immensely talented lawyer. Regarded as a robust opponent Paul’s knowledge of tour operating and specialist fields of practice including aviation and maritime law places him amongst the leading UK travel litigation experts.
Interests
In his spare time Paul enjoys foreign travel but admits that he spends a considerable proportion of his spare time reading and researching his complex area of law.
