Travel Law and Personal Injury Litigation involving the Package Travel, Package Holiday and Package Tours Regulations 1992, Private International law, the Athens Convention and the Montreal Convention. Acting for and representing holidaymakers who have suffered illness or injuries due to poor standards at hotels around the world and those who have been involved and injured in road traffic accidents whilst in a foreign jurisdiction.
Claire is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Legal Executives and joined Simpson Millar LLP’s holiday claims team in July 2014. Claire has extensive knowledge of the travel sector having worked within the industry for over 13 years. Her previous roles include working for Thomas Cook, before joining TUI UK Limited (TUI Holidays and First Choice Holidays) where she dealt with a wide range of legal issues in-house, as a Defendant lawyer.
Claire later joined Pannone LLP and became a Claimant travel lawyer where her background as a Defendant lawyer gave her an advantage when dealing with claims against tour operators, hoteliers and insurers. Claire has dealt with highly complex issues of law and jurisdiction and has always been highly regarded and respected by her clients, colleagues and other professionals. Her dedication and drive has resulted in many successful outcomes for her clients.
Claire is a member of TATLA (Travel and Tourism Lawyers Association).
Claire loves to travel the world and enjoys experiencing different cultures and climates. Claire also enjoys spending time with her family and friends and socialising with others.
