“Bacterial infections such as Salmonella are not caused by airborne viruses – over indulgence – cooking oils – changes in temperature – and any advice given to the contrary would be irresponsible. If left untreated this disease can cause long-term health problems, particularly in those whose immune systems are already compromised.”

“Tour operator’s holiday representatives should be advising their customers to seek urgent medical attention, if only to stop the symptoms of diarrhoea and vomiting and prevent dehydration.”

“I am looking into the situation for those holidaymakers who have suffered illness due to unsanitary hygiene conditions and food poisoning.”

“If holidaymakers at the Hotel Caribe Club Princess are falling sick because of food poisoning or failings in basic hotel food hygiene standards then this is not acceptable and I will be seeking compensation for those I represent.”
