You must consult your GP or seek medical help as soon as possible if symptoms of diarrhoea last more than 24 hours – you suffer persistent stomach cramps – there is blood in your stools – you have a feverish temperature exceeding 38 degrees.
Dehydration can occur when a large amount of bodily fluid is lost. Symptoms of dehydration include – dark urine – the mucous producing membrane in the mouth feeling dry – tiredness and a lack of strength. Dehydration can cause liver and kidney failure.

£3,000 Awarded for Holiday Illness in Egypt “Mr and Mrs Hillson of Northants both fell ill at the Tropicana Club Azure Hotel in Egypt with food poisoning.
